Despite the early season optimism, all is not well at the JJB Stadium and Steve Bruce was left disppointed once again after his sides dismal performance in the 3-0 defeat to Arsenal's youth team.
Bruce told the Wigan Athletic Official website: "The disappointing thing for me is that we've gone out of the cup with a whimper We didn't play anywhere near what we're capable of playing like."We gave them time and space and the freedom to enjoy themselves basically."
