Wigan Athletic's forgotten man, Henri Camara, has received more positive words of support since his return to the club. Defender Emmerson boyce has offered his support to the pacey striker.

Camara has been given a fresh chance with the Latics by Bruce this summer and the 31 year old has been impressing in pre-season with supporters hoping the Senegalese forward is back to his top form.

A fully firing Henri Camara would be a real asset to any team and if he has his mind on the Latics, Camara could have a strong impact on the club this season.

Emmerson Boyce, who this week should sign a new, improved deal with the club told the Wigan Evening Post: "I think people have to remember we've got Henri back in the squad now who has been looking really good in training.

"He's a very good player, been around for a while now, and is always capable of scoring a few goals for you. Henri will be the first to admit his career has been a bit up and down at times, but he'll be wanting to show a few people what he can do.

"I think he's a confidence player, if he scores once he tends to get himself on a bit of a run."

Camara has already neeted once during pre-season. The next game for the Latics is on Tuesday against Barnsley at Oakwell. Kick off is at 7.30pm.
