Updated Monday, 15th June 2009

Lee Cattermole is disappointed that Steve Bruce left the Latics for Sunderland but is hoping to impress incoming manager Roberto Martinez.

The midfielder, who is set to play for England under 21's this evening against Finland told Sky Sports News: "Yes definitely, I had a good year last year and he brought me to Wigan so it is a bit of a shame, but that's football.

Managers change, players change all the time so hopefully I'll be able to do the same for Martinez.
I obviously really enjoyed last year and there's a lot of changes at Wigan, I think we have lost our manager and our staff now.

"I'm going to concentrate on this tournament and get back and see what the situation is with Wigan and meet the new manager and see how it goes."

The game with Finland is live on Sky Sports and kicks off at 5.15pm.
