Charlie hoping for England chance

The 23 year old has been awarded dual nationality owing to the length of time he has been in the country and N'Zogbia has revealed he feels both French and English.

N'Zogbia said: "I have been here for so long now I consider myself to be both French and English. I would definitely say 'yes' if England asked me. And I would be very happy to do so.

"I'm just waiting now to see what is going to happen. But I have been here for more than five years and I'm very happy here. I love English football and English life, and I have many friends here. It would be a big honour in my life, and I would be happy to do that if selected.

"I have spoken to my family about this and they all want the best for my career. And I would do my best to play for England."

With England desperate for a naturally left footed player to fill the problem position on the left flank, N'Zogbia has more than a strong case.
