Paul Jewell could be wihout four defenders for Sundays crucial encounter with Tottenham. Skipper De Zeeuw and Emmerson Boyce are still out, whilst Fitz Hal and David Unsworth picked up injuries in the game on Monday.

Emmerson Boyce was hopeful of returning from the broken ribs he suffered during the 1-0 win against Manchester City, but now must wait until the beginning of May.

David Unsworth suffered a groin strain and Fitz Hall picked up a knee injury. Paul Scharner had to move to centre back during the 1-1 draw with Aston Villa.

If injuries fail to clear up, Scharner could see himself start alongside Matt Jackson, whilst forgotten man Andreas Granqvist could make a rare start.
