With his apparant reluctance to sign a new contract and the transfer offer from Chelsea this week, the future of youngster Victor Moses would appear unclear.
Moses was the subject of a rumoured £4 million offer from European Champions Chelsea earlier this week. An offer that the Latics turnoved down.
However since returning from international duty with Nigeria, Moses has transferred his attention to the transfer window.
“Now that I’m done with the national team, my attention will switch to the transfer window,” he said.
“I have heard a lot of offers are on the table. First of all Wigan have the final say, but for me the highest bidder would take the day. Right now I am still a DW faithful.”
The 21 year old has a year remaining on his present deal with the club but couldn't leave on a free transfer at the end of the season next year as he is under 24.
Compensation would be due to the Latics, but this would be much lower than a potential transfer fee.
