Goalkeeper Carlo Nash is set to face three months on the sidelines after suffering a broken ankle in training. The former Preston North End stopper is yet to make his debut in Wigan colours.

Nash joined in the summer from Preston for a fee of £300,000 and is currently third choice behind Chris Kirkland and Mike Pollitt.

The broken ankle is likely to keep Nash out until February.
