Charles N'Zogbia is set to undergo a scan on his knee today after colliding with Hull defender Kamil Zayette late in the first half. The collision forced both players to be substituted.
N'Zogbia has been playing particularly well and was showing glimpses of the form he achieved with Newcastle United before his switch the the JJB.
Latics boss Steve Bruce told the Wigan Evening Post: "We're obviously worried about Charles - his exit at half-time affected our style of play.
"The lad got an impact blow on his knee. He'll have scans and X-rays in the next 24 or 48 hours once everything has settled down.
"Hopefully it's not too serious. Charles had started showing flashes of why we brought him here in the first place.
"He is a dribbler - there aren't too many of those about in this country, and he can give you that bit of spark."
