West Ham United goalkeeper Roy Carroll could be set for a JJB return after Chris Hutchings admitted his desire to bring in a goalkeeper; with Carroll high on his list.
Carroll had a successful spell with Wigan after moving from Hull City, but when Manchester United came calling he left in a deal worth £3million.The Northern Ireland goalkeeper slipped down the ranks and moved to West Ham United two years ago. Despite being number one, a gambling problem saw him fall behind Robert Green at Upton Park.
Hutchings wants another goalkeeper to challenge the brilliant but injry prone Chris Kirkland: "We are looking to bring another keeper in, we need competition all over the park."
Meanwhile, Hutch' gave an injury update on Kirkland: "He's making progress and is working hard at the training ground at the moment.
"He's keeping his legs and body going, but can't do any handling work or diving yet - he has to be careful."
