Won Hee Cho on trial

South Korean international midfielder, Won Hee Cho, is currently on trial with the club. The 25 year old is presently a free agent.
Suwon Samsung Bluewings released Won Hee Cho at the end of his contract and the South Korean international, who has 27 caps to his name, is hoping to sign a contract with the Latics next week.

Steve Bruce told the club's official website: "Won Hee has come and trained with us for the past couple of days and has done really well, we have been really impressed with him as a player and a person and can sign him as he is not under contract with any club."

The news of Won's trial comes after rumours of sponsorship interest from car manufacturer, Hyundai. The trial of Hee Cho could be a toe in the water scenario to see how fruitful any potential link up could be.
