David Wright has returned to the Latics after spending one month on loan at Norwich City. Canaries boss Nigel Worthington took the former Crewe man on loan after Matthieu Louis-Jean.
Wright could now be in the fold for a first team return at the Latics for tonight's game with local rivals Bolton Wanderers in the Carling Cup Quarter Final. The 26 year old full back played in five games during his spell at Norwich, including the 3-1 defeat of Southampton in which Latics target Dean Ashton managed a hat-trick, and also the 2-1 defeat of his, and Ashton's old club Crewe.
The Canaries have an option to take Wright on a permenant basis, but this is unlikely to be taken up with the return to fitness of regular full-back Louis-Jean.
Below is a tally of Wright's appearances so far this campaign.
