Amr Zaki scored his first goal for the Latics as he fired home a last gasp winner in the 3-2 friendly victory over Sheffield Wednesday.
The Latics twice took the lead in the match only to be penned back by the Owls who wouldn't give up.First, Emile Heskey put the Latics in the lead, before Jermaine Johnson equalised, and Titus Bramble added a second for the Latics before half time.
Deon Burton equalised with a penalty early in the second half, after Maynor Figeuroa had fouled in hte area.
However The Egyptian international, Zaki fired home late in the game after being fed by fellow second half subsitute, Henri Camara.
With 27 goals in 48 international games, Zaki certainly looked every bit as impressive as that record suggests and Latics fans will hope he fulfils his potential at the JJB this season.
